"I expect it will be the best day of my life." It's not over yet. It can get better. He takes hold of her hand and pulls her closer to him so he can slide his arm around her waist. "That dress doesn't look very comfortable. You wouldn't need any help getting out of it, would you?"

"Oh I just might." Emma smirked at him. This was a really great day. And she was happy, so happy. This was the beginning of the rest of their lives. Part of Emma couldn't believe this was actually real. She worried something would happen to take this all away from her.

"I'd better see what I can do then." For the first time since they moved into this house, he's not worried about someone walking in on them. This is their night, after all, and everyone knows it. Besides, they're married now and no one should mind what they get up to behind closed doors.

His hand reaches around to the back to start undoing the buttons on her dress. "You know I do like you in a dress. Although I like you out of them too."

"Now now, plenty of time for that." Emma teased. Though it would feel good to be out of the dress and into something a bit more comfortable. This was all real and she was so happy.

"There is more wine and such and if we want it." She pointed out. And they had the night to themselves. She really couldn't be happier than she was in these moments with him.

"I know, that's what I'm counting on." They don't have anywhere to be for two whole days. He intends to make the most of that.

"Why don't you finish getting the dress off and I'll pour us some?" They do have plenty of time, after all.

"That sounds perfect." Emma said. And she went to slip into something more comfortable.

"Maybe we can go to the ship and watch the stars." She suggested when she'd returned to him.

"Maybe we can." Emma and the ocean, his two favorite things at the same time. "I thought this night couldn't get any better, but I think it just did."

"I'm glad I could help with that." She smiled at him once more. "Oh and we should definitely bring the wine, right?" Or he could have rum if he preferred. It really didn't matter, so long as they were together.

He moves over next to her and wraps his arm around her waist again, because it's easier to kiss her that way. "We should definitely bring the wine."

She kisses him back and nods. "Definitely some wine." She agrees. "And then tomorrow we can open all of these ridiculous wedding gifts." Because there were a lot of them.

"If I'd known that people would just give me things, I'd have gotten married a long time ago." Probably not really. But he felt like saying it anyway. "Should we take anything along with the wine?"

Emma laughs and kisses him. She's so very happy now. "Maybe one of these gift baskets will have something in it for us to enjoy." She suggests. "I don't think the four slice toaster will be of much use to us there."

"It doesn't really matter to me what comes along, as long as you're there." He had married her, after all, not the things, and he hadn't married her because of the things.

"Let's just not tell anyone we're going there." He still doesn't trust her parents to walk in on them.

"Definitely not." Emma agreed. "No one else needs to know." This was their night and she didn't want it interrupted either.

"So what do you say, we could be ready to go in five minutes?" That gives each of them time to grab whatever they might want to take along. Most of his things are at the house now, no longer on his ship.

"Sure, that's reasonable," Emma says. She's happy to go and spend some time on his ship with him, it's kind of his home away from home. And as an added bonus, no one is likely to bother them there.

"I'll meet you back here in five minutes then." He lets go of her, reluctantly, and heads off to gather a few things before they head to the ship.

And five minutes later, there she is, ready to go. It may not be the same as an adventure on the high seas but they can still have a bit of fun. Besides, the stars look so beautiful from the ship.

"Ready?" She asks him with a grin, holding up a bottle of her favorite wine.

"Ready." There's a bag dangling from his hook, with snacks in it. He doesn't expect to need much else. He takes her hand in his, twining their fingers together. "Come along, Swan, the ship awaits."

"So it does." She grinned. This was going to be a great night and she was happy to accompany him to the ship. The view from there was even better than she imagined.

He knows that it's not a long walk, but he wants to fill it up with talk anyway. One of many conversations they'll have in their lives together. "We could go for an actual sail sometime. Outside the harbor. There shouldn't be any barriers keeping from leaving town anymore."

"I'd like that." Emma tells him. "It can be an adventure." A safer one than they're used to but that is a good thing. They had the rest of their lives ahead of them...to be whatever they wanted.

"Adventure is my second-favorite thing in the whole world." She can probably guess what his absolute favorite is. "Henry could come too." He can have the crew quarters to himself and they can all have some privacy.

"Because your first favorite is rum, right?" She teases. She knows what his favorite is, but it's still fun to mess with him. "He'd like that, I think." She smiles.

He looks at her with mock offense. "My first favorite is you." Although maybe it should be rum. Rum has been there for him through a lot.

"He can continue his sailing lessons."
