"Sure, that's reasonable," Emma says. She's happy to go and spend some time on his ship with him, it's kind of his home away from home. And as an added bonus, no one is likely to bother them there.
And five minutes later, there she is, ready to go. It may not be the same as an adventure on the high seas but they can still have a bit of fun. Besides, the stars look so beautiful from the ship.
"Ready?" She asks him with a grin, holding up a bottle of her favorite wine.
"Ready." There's a bag dangling from his hook, with snacks in it. He doesn't expect to need much else. He takes her hand in his, twining their fingers together. "Come along, Swan, the ship awaits."
"So it does." She grinned. This was going to be a great night and she was happy to accompany him to the ship. The view from there was even better than she imagined.
He knows that it's not a long walk, but he wants to fill it up with talk anyway. One of many conversations they'll have in their lives together. "We could go for an actual sail sometime. Outside the harbor. There shouldn't be any barriers keeping from leaving town anymore."
"I'd like that." Emma tells him. "It can be an adventure." A safer one than they're used to but that is a good thing. They had the rest of their lives ahead of them...to be whatever they wanted.
"Adventure is my second-favorite thing in the whole world." She can probably guess what his absolute favorite is. "Henry could come too." He can have the crew quarters to himself and they can all have some privacy.
"Because your first favorite is rum, right?" She teases. She knows what his favorite is, but it's still fun to mess with him. "He'd like that, I think." She smiles.
"We'll need glasses then." He might drink rum right out of the bottle, but this is wine, and this is Emma. It's a different kind of situation. "Those are in the galley."
"Actually." Emma says, shaking her head at him. "I brought us some special glasses." She takes out the matching wine glasses that say "Mr." and "Mrs." on each of them. "Hope you don't mind."
He laughs when he sees the glasses. "I am absolutely certain that such a thing never existed in the Enchanted Forest." He doesn't mind at all. "That spot over there has the best view of the stars."
"Nah, this is the kind of thing you can only get from a factory or something, but still nice." She smiles. "Oh yeah? Looks like we'll have a great view then."
"I have a great view anytime you're in the room." Not what she meant, but he's saying it anyway. He uses his hook to pull the cork out of the wine bottle. "Ready for some wine?"
He pours some wine into each of their glasses. He sets down the bottle and picks up the glass labeled "Mr." and holds it up for a toast. "To whatever the future brings."
She likes that, thinking about the future with him. It's full of possibilities. She raises her glass and smiles. "As long as it's with you, I know it will be amazing."
"I've never had a future like this before." He doesn't want to discount his time with Milah, because he wouldn't trade that for anything, but what he has now with Emma is different than he ever imagined having. Just like he wouldn't take away her time with Neal, but knows that it was different, too. "Whatever it is, I know I'm going to like it."
"I never really thought much about the future." Emma admits. "I mean, as the savior...I was never even guaranteed to have one." Because anything could have happened. "But everything is different now and we can...do anything." She shrugged. "We could even give themed rides on the ship to people. Pirates are a big thing."
"Only if they promise not to touch anything." He has rules about his ship, and takes better care of it than he takes of Emma (although he's well aware that she can take care of herself).
That's something to think of at some other date though. Right now he wants only to think of her, and their wedding night. "I never really thought about mine either," he admits. "Pirates don't really have futures, and you know as well as I do that my quest for revenge was more likely to kill me than not. I never imagined anything different until I met you."
"Well, now you're looking at a lifetime, Mr. Jones...what are you going to do with it?" She asks, teasing him just a bit. There were so many possibilities for them now.
