She watches him as he responds and suddenly she wants to know what he is thinking but she doesn't ask. Nodding, she looks away and lets the silence fill the air between them. She had started the conversation but she lets it drop. If he wants to talk some more, he will need to start the conversation again or find another topic.
She wants to ask him who he has waiting in the wings and what alliances he wants to make but she figures that is something she will have to see with her own two eyes.
