Sansa wonders why she feels a small moment of something uncomfortable to identify when he confirms that he is leaving along with his men. It isn't a surprise to hear, after all. She knows that he can feel the tension whenever her brother is around, especially since Jon doesn't try to hide the fact that he doesn't trust Petyr or like him all that much. Brienne certainly isn't subtle about it either but she listens to Sansa who is the only one who continues to vouch for the man despite their issues.

He tries to convince her regularly that he didn't know how much of a monster Ramsay was and she still isn't sure that she believes him but she does believe that he feels horrible over the things that happened to her.

"I suppose I shouldn't be surprised." She makes her voice softer as she glances around casually. "Staying here weakens your hold at the Eyrie, especially with most of the men here. Being so new in power, you should be there so no one gets the idea to steal your power."
